Before coming to Ghana please check with your local community health care organization for health requirements to enter Ghana.

Make sure that you have adequate health insurance to cover you outside of your home country and that you have medical evacuation insurance should you need to be transported out of Ghana for medical care. (For a list of U.S. insurance companies providing medical coverage overseas see Ghana 101 section.) Do not assume that this is part of your normal domestic policy.

This list is not exhaustive of competent medical practitioners or facilities in Accra.
