Ghana International Women’s Club (GIWC)

The Ghana International Women’s Club was formed in 1980 to establish a strong bond of friendship among “Women of the World”, and foster a better understanding of one another’s cultures in a neutral, non-political setting. Its chief objective is to better the lot of the disadvantaged in Ghana, particularly women and children, through volunteer work. The members organize fundraising events to finance projects. GIWC has 125 members from more than 40 countries.
